What to Expect on Class Day
Your day is structured to keep you engaged while making the most of your time. You'll move through BLS, ACLS, and PALS with a combination of instructor-led discussion, hands-on skills practice, team-based scenarios, and certification testing. Most Triple Certification classes are completed in 4–6 hours, depending on the experience of the group and the amount of discussion and skills practice. We do not take a formal lunch break, so please bring a lunch, water, and anything else you'll need to stay comfortable throughout the day.

Complete your required ACLS and PALS pre-course self-assessments before class. Instructions will be emailed after you register.
Bring only the one-page score reports from your ACLS and PALS pre-course self-assessments. You may email them, text them, or bring printed copies to class. (Please do not print the entire test.)

Do I need current certifications to take this class?
Yes. This Triple Certification course is designed for experienced healthcare providers completing their recertifications. If you need an initial BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification, please contact us before registering so we can help you find the appropriate course.
How long does the Triple Certification class take?
Most classes are completed in 4–6 hours, depending on the experience of the group, the amount of discussion, and hands-on skills practice. Our focus is on making sure everyone understands the material—not rushing through it.
Do I need to complete anything before class?
Yes. After you register, you'll receive instructions for completing the required ACLS and PALS pre-course self-assessments. Please complete both before class and submit only the one-page score reports by email, text, or bring them with you on the day of class. Please do not print the entire self-assessment.
Will I receive all three certification cards the same day?
In most cases, yes. Once all course requirements have been successfully completed, your American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS eCards are typically issued the same day. Occasionally, the American Heart Association's eCard system may experience delays, and cards can take up to 72 hours to be issued.
If you have an urgent deadline and need your certification cards as soon as possible, please let us know before or during class. While we cannot guarantee same-day issuance in every situation, we'll do everything we reasonably can to help you meet your deadline.
