What Makes Our BLS Class Different?
You’ve probably heard people say CPR classes are boring. We understand why. Many healthcare professionals have been taking the same certification every two years for decades. Our goal isn’t just to check a box - it is to make the time you spend with us valuable.
We explain why you’re doing each sill, not just how to perform it. When you understand the reasoning behind lifesaving care, you’re more likely to remember it when it matters most
“Even seasoned healthcare providers tell us they learned something new”
Why Understanding Matters
Most CPR classes focus on memorizing steps. We believe that when you understnd why those steps matter, you’ll remember them under pressure. That’s why we teach the physiology behind CPR and BLS in simple, relatable language. Our students don’t just leae certified - they leave prepared.
We break down complex concepts into practical, memorable lessons so that whether you’re in a hospital, dental office, clinic, or responding to a family emergency, you’ll understand the purpose behind every action you take.
What to Expect on Class Day

BLS vs. CPR:
What’s the Difference?
Many people aren’t sure whether they need CPR or BLS certification. While both teach lifesaving skills, BKS is designed specifically for healthcare professionals and includes additional team-based resuscitation techniques, use of a bag-mask device and management of cardiac emergencies.
BLS is typically required for:
Nurses
Physicians
Dentists and dental staff
EMTs and paramedics
Medical assistants
Respiratory therapists
Physical and occupational therapists
Nursing, medical, midwifery, dental and allied health students
Staff at medical facilities

Why BLS Saves Lives
BLS is more than a certification requirement. It’s a structured approach to recognizing life-threatening emergencies, providing high-quality CPR, using an AED, supporting ventilation, and working effectively as part of a healthcare team. Every minute matters during a cardiac arrest, and confident action can make the difference between life and death.
Our goal is not simply to help you earn a certification card. We want you to leave class understanding why each step matters so that if you’re ever faced with a real emergency, you’ll be ready to respond with confidence.
“The best time to learn how to save a life is before someone need you to.”
